3sixteen CT-220xk - Classic Tapered Rinsed Black Kibata
Working with Yoshiwa Mills out of Okayama, 3sixteen have developed a double black version of their popular Kibata denim. Like its indigo brother, the 220xk fabric arrives fully loom state, full of beautiful texture, and is rinsed to remove shrinkage, taking the guess work out of sizing, and pushes the uneven character of the denim even further. Woven with a black warp and weft, the fabric starts super dark and fades to grey over time, emphasized by the fabric's raised texture.
The 3sixteen CT-100xk is their ultra-popular Classic Tapered fit, which combines the top block of their Classic Straight with the bottom half of their Slim Tapered. This gives more room in the thigh area while still keeping a modern tapered silhouette at the bottom. This fit has a higher rise which sits further up on the waist.
